20 Years of Zip It Postal Center: The Story Behind Sandi Sabonis and a Little Elm Business

Sandi Sabonis has helped make a neighborhood business part of the everyday rhythm of Little Elm for two decades.

In 2026, Zip It Postal Center celebrates its 20th anniversary, a milestone built on thousands of ordinary moments that matter: a package safely shipped, a document printed before a deadline, or a small-business owner getting help with a project.

The Little Elm Chamber of Commerce identifies Sandi as the owner of the full-service business center, which has served the community since 2006.

From technology to a neighborhood storefront

Before her work in Little Elm, Sandi built a career in technology, moving from Eudora, Kansas, to North Texas in 1994 while working as an IT project manager for Coca-Cola Enterprises.

Her professional background helps explain the range of services now available through Zip It, where shipping and mailing sit alongside printing, notary services, mailbox rental, copying, binding, and more.

At 2701 Little Elm Parkway, Suite 100, the store provides a practical resource for residents, entrepreneurs and growing businesses alike.

Serving beyond the counter

Sandi's connection to Little Elm reaches beyond her business.

According to the Chamber's published biography, she joined the organization when the business opened in 2006 and became one of its first ambassadors when that program launched in 2018.

She has also served on the Chamber board and participated in community organizations including Little Elm Rotary Club and Friends of the Library.

That kind of involvement is easy to overlook, but strong communities depend on people who keep showing up.

A milestone worth celebrating

The Little Elm Chamber has scheduled a ribbon cutting and 20-year milestone celebration for Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the store.

Neighbors can celebrate a local business that has grown alongside the town and the people who have supported it.

For The 380 Connector, this is the heart of a Community Champion story: lasting service, local relationships and a commitment to the place we call home.

Congratulations to Sandi, her family and the Zip It Postal Center team on 20 years of service.
