Frisco ISD’s Jacque Ballent Wins National Marketing Award
The recognition highlights outreach that helped more than 1,500 students connect with expanded district programs

Frisco ISD has earned national recognition for work that made several district programs easier for families to discover and use.
Jacque Ballent, the district’s marketing and special projects facilitator, received the 2026 SchoolCEO Excellence in Marketing Award.
Connecting families with more choices
Frisco ISD credited Ballent’s work with helping launch, sustain and expand Access Frisco, Frisco Flex and tuition-based pre-K.
Together, those programs have enrolled more than 1,500 students who otherwise would not have attended the district, according to Frisco ISD.
Access Frisco allows qualifying students who live outside district boundaries to apply to selected campuses, while Frisco Flex offers a hybrid model that combines in-person and online instruction.
The tuition-based pre-K option gives eligible families another early-learning pathway.
A national spotlight on local communication
The SchoolCEO award recognizes school-system leaders who use effective communication to help families understand a district’s value and opportunities.
Ballent joined Frisco ISD in July 2024 after seven years in school communications and marketing.
She was selected from four national finalists, according to the district’s official announcement.
