Haldiram’s Chooses Frisco for Its First U.S. Restaurant
The global Indian food brand opens October 11 with street food, sweets and family-style dining

Haldiram’s will open its first U.S. restaurant Sunday, October 11, at 7010 Preston Road, Suite 240, in Frisco.
The approximately 4,400-square-foot restaurant will seat 110 guests and combine full-service casual dining with a sweet counter and retail area.
What families can try
The menu will feature Indian street food, traditional thalis and chaats, including Raj Kachori, Choley Bhature, Pav Bhaji and Pani Puri.
Dessert choices will include Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun, while the retail section will carry traditional mithai and packaged Haldiram’s snacks.
The opening coincides with Navratri, and the restaurant plans a special selection of traditional fasting-friendly dishes for the festival.
A familiar name reaches North Texas
Haldiram’s began as a small bhujia shop in Bikaner, India, in 1937 and has grown into an international food business with products sold in more than 80 countries.
Frisco becomes the starting point for the company’s U.S. restaurant expansion, adding another distinctive dining experience to the Preston Road corridor.
FSR Magazine carried the company’s opening announcement, and WFAA and the Dallas Business Journal independently confirmed the date, address and first-in-the-nation designation.
Opening-day hours and any crowd-control plans were not included in the verified announcements, so visitors should check for current updates before traveling.
