Little Elm ISD Earns Second Straight CTE District Distinction
Little Elm ISD earned a second straight CTE District of Distinction honor for career programs connecting students with practical skills.

Little Elm ISD has earned a Career and Technical Education District of Distinction designation for the second consecutive year.
In its October 15 announcement, the district said the Career and Technical Association of Texas included Little Elm ISD among its 2026–27 honorees.
What the recognition means
CTAT describes the designation as recognition for robust, high-quality CTE programs that respond to the needs of students, communities and employers.
Selected districts can share practices and success stories with other career-education leaders across Texas.
The statewide list also includes nearby Aubrey, Frisco and Lewisville ISDs.
Practical value for families
Little Elm ISD says its hands-on programs help students explore interests, build in-demand skills and prepare for college, industry certifications or the workforce.
District postings identify program areas including engineering, health science, business, marketing, education and training, agriculture, media technology, trades, and law and public safety.
The repeat distinction does not guarantee a particular course or certification for every student, so families should use current course information and campus guidance when planning.
