Prosper Invites Neighbors to Turn Reused Materials Into Art

An empty container or discarded piece of packaging could become the starting point for a local art project this fall.

Prosper’s Recycled Creations Art Exhibit invites residents to share original work made with recycled or repurposed materials on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 5:30–7 p.m.

The gathering takes place at the library, 200 S. Main Street, with the Library and Public Works collaborating around America Recycles Day.

Two ways to take part

People who want to exhibit can follow the town’s exhibitor registration link, while visitors can come to explore the finished work.

The announcement also lists a recycled craft for children and light refreshments.

That gives families a choice: make something to share, or visit together and look at everyday materials through an artist’s eyes.

Plan before you create

Prosper says exhibitor space is limited and encourages early registration.

The registration destination could not be independently opened during our review, so current capacity, deadlines and any detailed submission rules remain unconfirmed.

Prospective exhibitors should check directly with the library before committing to a project.

Keep exploring

The town’s water-conservation events page lists the exhibit alongside other hands-on programs.

Readers can use the library’s main page to explore additional services and programs while planning a visit.

This is an upcoming-event preview; it does not describe artwork already submitted or promise a particular display.
